COVERED BRIDGE FESTIVAL TIME

Most people that live close to us know what the "Covered Bridge Festival" is, but if you don't I will go ahead and explain. There are over 30 Covered Bridges in Parke Co. Indiana. For several years now, there has been a festival in the Fall where vendors from all over come to sell their crafts and treasures. Hundreds of thousands of people come every year to visit the historical buildings and bridges. I grew up around 6 miles south of the festival. I remember Mansfield( which is one of the busiest places to see a Covered bridge during the festival) when it was all not so commercialized. Now, it has paved walkways and really caters to people who come to shop during that time. Anyway, when I was younger I used to work at some of the vendors stands for some cash when I was in high school and college. It was easy money. I have been a Sati Babi girl, a bloomin onion girl, which is not fun because I cried all day trying to cut the onions. I have worked at a hamburger stand ( boring) and Danny and I both worked at the Fried Veggie stand. It is funny to look back and see all the crazy things we did back then. Well today the 3 of us went on our yearly outing there. No more work for us, we just go to eat the greasy food and try to find a good deal. We know all the back roads to avoid all the traffic. It is sooooo pretty driving in the country seeing all the fall trees. It makes you stop and thank God for all the little blessings he has given us. Here are some pics of our day.

Adoption news,
There is none. Have not heard anything from our attorney in over a week. Not happy at all. We will see what tomorrow brings.

I just found your blog. I want you to know that there are those of us that have our babies home that continually pray to get the rest of the babies to their forever famililes. My heart hurts for you...the wait stinks. I'll be tuning in for good news!! Visit our blog!

Hi Britty,
I read your blog on a daily basis...Love the pic's of CBF. It reminded me of when we took pic's of you there, right before Kainen was born. No good food and deals that day, but the anticipation of his birth was so wonderful...and of course, no crowds! Now, your anticipation has an element of frustration with it, but know that we are thinking of you and Danny and Kainen.

Aw, I love the pics! Makes me wanna be there, but not this year:(
At least it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to make it there this year. Hope you bought lots of good stuff!

Now about adoption news, or lack of it. What do you think? Is FTIA ready for the wrath of Pam and Brittney? I don't think so! We better get some news this week!
Yea, I talk a big game, but you know me, if there's no news this week, we'll be praying for next week.

You're in my thoughts and prayers.
