Today the nice PGN lady said we were approved and going for photocopies then the window for pickup. Still not believing it I asked if we were finished with the Procurador. She said yes and that the supervisor also authorized approval on the case. I guess there is a sub-attorney general who signs and then the actual attorney general gives his rubber stamp of approval. It needs photocopies made then can be picked up. I am in such shock and so guarded that it is hard to believe.
Years ago you didn't hear about getting approved until you were released and your agency called you with the news that you were out of PGN. Well in today's Guatemala adoption world, you have to do all the calling yourself and learn of each confusing step one day at a time. I will definetly celebrate when our file is picked up but atleast it sounds super positive. WHOO-HOO! There is some light at the end of this tunnel. Thanks for all of your encouraing words. You all better be at the airport waiting to meet this girl when she comes home. We will keep you posted as more news comes my way!

WOOOOOOOO-HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :) Fabulous news!!!!! Can't wait for the OUT news....c'mon PGN....photocopy and let's get this little HOME :)
I am sooo excited for your family. I know we've never met, but I feel like I know you from following your blog. And I will be over the moon thrilled when your sweet September 26th baby comes home. Somehow knowing she is with her family will make me so happy since my sweet angel never made it here. I so hope that photocopier is working overtime to get your file done.
YES!!! YES!!!! YES!!! I have CHILLS!!! I know your heart is guarded until you know FOR SURE, but this is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I could go down there and copy that friggin' file myself!!
Never commented on your blog, but have been through the process myself (moved to Guat and finished our adoption on our own . . .) I have been following your updates and praying that all goes smoothly. Rejoicing with you that your precious girl is one step closer to her forever family. What a story she has - God has BIG plans for her!!
You know what this is? ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) This is really skinny dancing bananas.....that aren't dancing too much but the best I can do. I remember when dancing bananas were the sign you had made a great stride on adopotion.com. Unfortunately, in blogland, you get a half of parenthesis and then you have to use your imagination;)
You know I'm gonna be at that airport with bells on!!
Yippee!! I wouldn't miss seeing that girl land in Indiana!!!!!
Tears of joy over here! I am with Steph! Let's go copy that friggin' file! I can leave tomorrow! How about you? :)
Praying all the rest of the steps happen very quickly!!!
