Patience is TRUSTING in God's timing.....

This was one of the quotes that a co-worker brought to my attention this past week at work. Thanks Amy! It is so true and sometimes I need others to help me understand things better. My co-workers are my therapists. They listen to me be irrational, rational, cry, smile, be happy, sad, you know the whole roller coaster effect that this process brings. They are very special people in my life. They may not understand the whole process but they are there to help me through the day and always know what to say to cheer me up and are genuine in doing so.

We have had such a blessed week. I love to spend time with our families and do Family Fun day or night. Besides working my 3 days this week, we took Kainen bowling Thursday night. He beat me of coarse. Danny bowled a 120 or something close to that. Go Babe!! Friday while I was slaving at work, my mom and aunt came over and swam most of the day with Kainen and Danny. Then Danny grilled out for the ladies. (You are such a great husband to entertain my family and cook while I am at work.)

Today Kainen and I went to the mall because they were having there sidewalk sales. Then Daddy met us at the movies to see Wall-E. It is a really cute movie. Go see it if you can. Then Dan's parents came over for dinner. We grilled out and went swimming some more. The in-laws really enjoyed themselves in the pool. We finished the night off by watching the video from our last visit trip to see Kinsey. Perfect ending to a perfect day. Tomorrow my parents are supposed to come over for some fun in the sun too. It has been so nice to relax and just enjoy family. I hope next week continues to bring goodness.

No new news on the adoption front. They still have not found the Birthmother. Someone from our agency got approval without having a BMI. This gives us a little hope that they may do away with the interviews but nothing has been confirmed. Just rumors. I think if they are going to approve one family then we should all get approved but no-one ever listens to me.

Kinsey will be 1 in September and we wanted to be there for her 1st birthday if possible. I found flight for $258.00 round trip. This is crazy!!! I am so very excited. The flight times are great and it is with the airlines we always fly with so we will get our flyer miles. Kainen is going this time. I would love to make it a pick-up trip instead of a visit in sept. but at least this gives me something to focus on. Soooo we will be holding her again in approx 10 weeks. Whoo-hooooooo!!

Here are a few pics from this week.

Sounds like you are surrounded by some very special people right now. I am so excited you are going on another visit and I am HOPING this will also be a pick-up trip. I am also hoping that these rumors are true. It is SOOOOO hard to trust in that timing, especially when you are in the midst of so much worry and heartache. Hang on tight.

I'm glad to hear you at least know you will be with your girl on her birthday! I hope that your wish will come true and you'll be celebrating her homecoming then too.

WooHoo for $258 airfare!!!!!
That's great!!! Persistance pays off! I love the pool pictures. Everyone looks like they're having a great time. Too bad our girls weren't born just a little closer together and we could be down there at the same time again. I'll make sure they leave the welcome mat out for you when I leave.
We've just got to keep praying. I had a friend at church tell me he had a dream about Nola this passed week. He and his wife have been faithful prayer partners and he said he knows good news is just around the corner. Let's pray he's got the inside scoop.
We're waiting right along with you!
